Others try. I succeed.

Funny you should ask, after my father’s … revelation, I was pondering prosecuting my father for financial damages to the family. Of course, I simply took over after that point, but back then I was consulting with Miss von Karma as to the best course of action fairly regularly. So while there is no blood relation, we have a friendly relationship. Where on earth did that question come from?

Hm, interesting. ‘Skill’ is quite a loose term, I find. I do not think I could compare my own to that of say, a mage’s skill in mastering and manipulating their art. Likewise, Caitlyn ‘s sniping is not to be laughed at, yet I can draw no direct comparisons between her style and mine. I think quite a few people in the League are extremely talented individuals. What I will say is that among those who are comparable, Jax is an obvious one that springs to mind - I do not think you can wield a lamppost as he does without considerable ability, so while he’s brutish and lacks finesse, he’s an obvious contender. I suppose significant mentions would be Riven, Irelia… and similar to Jax, Talon’s bladework, while rough, cannot be called unskilled - the man can disappear!

I know you have your reasons and that I am no one to question them, but… at least allow me this selfish gesture.
I cannot believe these words are coming from my mouth, but… Viva Noxus, General.

jericho-swain asked: Hello, mon amour~

‘Mon amour’? Oh, you~

1. First impression: That you were not quite the monstrously terrifying half-man as portrayed in Demacian stories; I was surprised!
2. How I feel about you now:
Ahh, I think of you with great affection. You’ve somehow gone from terrifying leader of the enemy to someone I care quite deeply for and respect wholly.
3. My favourite thing about you:
Oh, I could not choose between your sharp wit and gracious charm.
4. Have you ever made me laugh:
Frequently, you do say such funny things!
5. Have you ever made me mad:
I remember initially being incorrigibly angry at you for your grievous insults and questioning both my talent and drive. This was of course before your charm wormed its way into my heart.
6. Best feature: Hrrm, your eyes I think. Both fierce and perceptive!
7. Have I ever had a crush on you:
I think I am long past the point of being able to deny this one… so yes, yes I have.
8. You’re my:
Trusted confidant and close… friend~ who would have thought?
9: Nickname I just made up for you:
I can think of nothing witty that has not been overdone, so will a simple ‘mon chéri’ suffice?
10. Something I’d like to tell you:
That I’m actually… a little jealous of Lady LeBlanc.

jarvaniv-archive asked: A pleasure, Lady Fiora.

Ever an honour, Sir Jarvan!

1. First impression: That you were a pompous, gold-clad prince who probably had no sense of real duty or discipline.
2. How I feel about you now: That I was terribly wrong; for all your bravado, you’ve long since proven that you have impressive integrity and I cannot deny your strength. I cannot help but respect you, even though you (and Sir Crownguard, for that matter) can be mildly bemusing.
3. My favourite thing about you: Your faultless courage, it’s rather inspiring.
4. Have you ever made me laugh: Oh yes, both intentionally and perhaps not so intentionally.
5. Have you ever made me mad: I do not think so. Long may it last.
6. Best feature: Ooh, perhaps… your masculine stature? Then again, your hair has a dashing quality…
7. Have I ever had a crush on you: Ahh, I did when I was a little younger and rather more naive. I was quite awed by the (literally) shiny prince of my beloved home.
8. You’re my: Liege and ally.
9: Nickname I just made up for you: Ahh, this is difficult! … Sir Lance-a-lot~?
10. Something I’d like to tell you: Noxians are quite interesting people, I’d suggest trying to speak to them.

askthenighthunter asked: Greetings.

1. First impression: That you seemed terribly reliable, if perhaps a little overly menacing.
2. How I feel about you now:
I cannot help but admire your dedication and personal strength. I will always like a driven person.
3. My favourite thing about you:
Your attitude and ruthlessness~ it seems as though not a single thing could slip by you.
4. Have you ever made me laugh:
Certainly, your blogging antics have often made me laugh.
5. Have you ever made me mad: Not that I can recall~
6. Best feature:
Your hair, it is glorious.
7. Have I ever had a crush on you:
No, despite the things that the anonymous horde have made me do…
8. You’re my:
Acquaintance, though I would hope that could be extended to ‘friend’.
9: Nickname I just made up for you:
Vayne Helsing. You need a wide brimmed hat and leather trenchcoat to go with it.
10. Something I’d like to tell you:
One day I shall steal your aristocrat hat; I love it.

It is… exhausting and rather hot.

I understand that for some heavy armor is beneficial and allows them to survive where they are not quite dexterous enough to reliably escape blows or to deal them out with any real accuracy or speed. However, since my entire style is built upon finesse and speed, being weighed down is so inherently counter-productive it becomes entirely pointless… I’d have to entirely change my way of fighting to make it worthwhile, which isn’t something that’ll be happening. Ever.

I salute those of you that manage to spend their days bogged down my metal plates, however!
